Redbird and Titan basketball take the air Saturday on WJBC

Illinois State’s basketball team goes for its third straight victory over highly touted Wichita State today when the teams meet in a Missouri Valley Conference game in Wichita to close the regular season.
Coverage on WJBC 1230 AM begins with the pregame show at noon and the tip-off at 1 p.m.

The Redbirds have an 18-12 overall record and a 12-5 league mark. Wichita State, which has already won the league title, is 15-2 in the Valley and 22-7 overall. At night, the IWU Women’s Basketball team will take on Wheaton for CCIW Tournament Championship, WJBC will take the air at 6:30 p.m.

On your computer or smartphone at wjbc.com, the ISU softball team plays a pair of games in Baton Rouge, against Texas Tech at noon and Louisiana State at 2:30 p.m.
The ISU baseball team plays at the University of Oregon at 4 p.m. and the Bloomington Thunder plays at Youngstown at 6 p.m.
