BLOOMINGTON – The annual Christmas at the Mansions tour in Bloomington was a sellout on Saturday.
Toni Tucker, associate director of advancement at Illinois State University, said 1,431 people took part in the tour and 1,600 tickets were sold.
“That’s a record and we consider that pretty good,” Tucker said.
She told WJBC’s Scott Laughlin financial totals haven’t been tabulated.
The tour of Ewing Manor, David Davis Mansion and this year’s mystery house at Mercer and Castle streets, raises money for both mansions – and this year included a $250 donation to Wishbone Canine Rescue in Bloomington.
