Bloomington Police arrest juvenile after crash with stolen vehicle

BLOOMINGTON – Police say they arrested a juvenile after they recovered a stolen car on Sunday.

Bloomington Police say the vehicle was stolen from Cornflower Lane at Prairieland Estates early Sunday. An officer discovered someone driving the vehicle at Towanda Avenue and Emerson Street at about 9:30 p.m. The vehicle reportedly crashed into the police car and was left abandoned on Elmwood Road.

Police caught up with the suspect a short time later and took him into juvenile custody. They believe two others were in the car, but they have not been found.
