Bloomington Police seek attempted murder charges following shooting

BLOOMINGTON – Police have arrested a teenager on attempted murder charges in connection with an incident of a shot being fired on Tracy Drive last week.

Bloomington Police say Montrell Sanders, 18, was arrested Thursday while police say the investigation is ongoing.

Police say the arrest is related to a shot being fired from a handgun into a moving vehicle that was occupied by an adult male, a juvenile female, and a two-year old child last Friday night.

Police ask the public to come forward with any information on the case if they have it by calling Detective Jared Roth at (309) 434-2379 or McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 888-1111.
