Nancy J. Feldman, 57, of Syracuse, N.Y., formerly of Bloomington, passed away at home on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015.

A prayer service will be held at noon on Friday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, with Rev. Neri Greskoviak officiating.   Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bloomington.   Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to: www.giveforward.com (Nancy Feldman).   To express condolences online, please visit www.carmodyflynn.com.

She was born in Bloomington and married Bernie Feldman on Aug. 18, 1979.

She was a “Jack of all trades” and provided child care in her home for 21 years. Nancy was a humble servant to her church Most Holy Rosary in Syracuse and her many family members and friends.

She had a compassionate heart for all of the children she cared for including her two grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Bernie, of 36 years; daughter, Christina (D.J.) Wiegand of Syracuse, N.Y.; son, Michael Feldman of Syracuse, N.Y. and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Danny.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Hinshaw; her brother, Jerry Hinshaw and her daughters, Laura Jean and Sarah R. Feldman.
