BLOOMINGTON – State Rep. Dan Brady, R-Bloomington, isn’t a fan of the Clean Jobs bill.
“If there were some concessions made on both sides, it would be something that has the potential for me to support,” Brady said. “But in its present form, I would not be in favor of the bill.”
Illinois People’s Action called out Brady earlier this week for being noncommittal on the legislation, which the group says will promote clean energy jobs and renewable energy.
The two bills, House Bill 2607 and Senate Bill 1485, are both stalled in the legislature this year. The House version hasn’t made it out of committee since being filed in February.
