BLOOMINGTON – A McLean County judge has dismissed murder charges against Danielle Fischer, but kept charges of child endangerment.
Judge Robert Freitag’s ruling Friday afternoon came after the defense filed a motion earlier this week alleging 24-year-old’s right to a speedy trial had been violated. The judge agreed Fischer’s right to a speedy trial had been violated in relation to the murder charges, but not the child endangerment charges.
The charges are related to the death of Fischer’s son, Robbie Cramer, in March 2013. A bench trial date has been set for Nov. 30.
