Illinois Wesleyan set to name 19th president

BLOOMINGTON – Illinois Wesleyan University has scheduled a news conference for Monday morning when it will announce its 19th president.

Current president Dick Wilson announced his retirement last December after 11 years at the school and has stayed on the job during an extended nationwide search.

Wesleyan Board of Trustees Chairman George Vinyard and search committee chair Jean Baird will make the announcement.

The entire campus community is being invited to attend. It is scheduled for 11:30 Monday at the Hansen Student Center.
