UPDATED: Motorcyclist injured in Bloomington crash

BLOOMINGTON – A McLean County man is in critical condition after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car on Sunday night.

Talmage Fletcher of Shirley was taken to a local hospital, then was airlifted to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Police have released few details about the crash. The collision happened at the intersection of Center Street and Oakland Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. No one in the car was injured.

Police say the motorcyclist was headed southbound when it collided with a westbound car. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, but their condition isn’t known.

Accident reconstructionists were on the scene collecting evidence and lanes were blocked for several hours.

Police haven’t issued any tickets.
