Cardinals against host Rockies, CornBelters face Aviators on road

Lance Lynn makes the trip to the mound for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Colorado Rockies at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Coverage begins with the pre-game show on WJBC 1230 AM at 5:20 p.m. with the first pitch at 6:15 p.m.

Lynn has an 8-5 record with a 2.71 earned run average despite the fact the Cardinals have averaged less than three runs per game for him this season. He hasn’t needed a lot of support, though, as his earned run average dipped below 3.00 in June and stayed there.
