Cardinals begin interleague series vs. Twins on WJBC tonight

The St. Louis Cardinals begin a four-game interleague series with the Minnesota Twins tonight.

The Cardinals and Twins will play the first two games at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, followed by two games at Target Field in Minneapolis.

Jon Lackey, whose scheduled start against the Kansas City Royals was scrapped because of a rainout on Sunday, will get the ball for the Cardinals. Righthander Trevor May will pitch for the Twins. The two pitchers have matching 4-4 records.

WJBC 1230 AM and the Cardinals Radio Network will have the play-by-play starting at 7:05 p.m.

Tim Lewis will host Sportstalk starting at 6 on WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com.
