Lynn Graack
Lynn B. Graack, 71, of Lincoln, formerly of El Paso and Summerfield, Fla., passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital of Illinois or St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lynn was born on Oct. 4, 1943 in Normal, a son to George W. And Dorothy A. Tipler Graack.
Surviving are two sons, Brian (Angela) Graack of Fayetteville, N.C., Jamie (Jennifer) Graack of Normal; two sisters, Nancy (Donald) Geiselman of Bloomington, Lynda (Robert dec.) Riker of Wildwood, Fla.; two granddaughters, Chloee, Peyton; two grandsons, Liam, Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sue A. Armstrong and infant sister, Joy Lynn. Lynn grew up in El Paso, attended Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University and music classes at Illinois Wesleyan University. He was a manager at IGA and Dairy Queen. He was also employed at Zurich North America Ins. Co., in Schaumburg, Illinois and lastly, Home Depot in Florida.
Lynn made his home at Castle Manor, a supportive living facility in Lincoln where he enjoyed the company of residents and staff.
