WASHINGTON, D.C. – Some Republicans in Congress want to give the President all the power he may need to fight ISIS.
"I've been critical to say he needs more airstrikes, probably embed some special operations on the ground to push back ISIS," U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Channahon, said on ABC News' "This Week," Sunday morning.
Kinzinger said lawmakers shouldn't limit any authorization of military force. The Illinois Republican said Congress has the power to declare war, but not to act as Commander in Chief. He's also worried that if the fight to defeat ISIS outlasts the three year act presented, America would be forced to stop and allow the terrorists to regroup.
