BLOOMINGTON – A former deputy for the McLean County Sheriff's Office is being indicted on theft charges.
Court records accuse Jay Hobson, 37, of taking $100,000 from the union's pension fund. Reports say it happened between 2011 and 2014.
The money had been earmarked for charitable efforts.
