BLOOMINGTON – Illinois State's football team fell to North Dakota State 29-27 in the FCS championship.
The 13-2 Redbirds met fellow Missouri Valley Conference foe and now four-time defending national champion North Dakota State at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
Also, Illinois Wesleyan plays host to Carthage in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin basketball action from the Shirk Center, beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM and wjbc.com.
The Titans are 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference while Carthage is 5-7 overall and 1-1 in the league.
