THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THIS WARNING. * TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN MOVING INTO AREAS WEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER THIS AFTERNOON...AND REMAIN STEADY THROUGH MIDNIGHT BEFORE DIMINISHING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL OCCUR DURING THE EVENING. * ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 7 INCHES ARE LIKELY BEFORE THE SNOW DIMINISHES AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE HEAVIEST TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO BE NORTH OF THE I-74 CORRIDOR. * IMPACTS...ROADS WILL QUICKLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY THIS EVENING.
