SPRINGFIELD – There’s soon to be a shakeup at the Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Julie Hamos is resigning as director of the HFS effective Jan. 9.
The report says Hamos came under fire for implementing cuts to the state’s Medicaid system and that lost her some support for reconfirmation.
