KANKAKEE – A Comcast worker says he was shot at while repairing a cable line in Kankakee.
The (Kankakee) Daily Journal reports the incident happened Tuesday morning.
The worker told police he was up in the lift bucket when a single gunshot was fired and struck a cable.
The newspaper reports he immediately lowered the lift bucket and called police.
Officers found a hole in a cable and a projectile embedded into a wooden pole.
