NORMAL – There is good news about the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport which is built in Normal.

The 2015 model is among three Mitsubishi models being named a top safety pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.  The I-I-H-S performs evaluations and assesses safety ratings in crash testing of production vehicles.

This is the fourth straight year the Outlander Sport is receiving this safety designation.  Some of the reasons for the safety designation include seven air bags, Active Stability Control, Traction Control Logic, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and the Anti-lock braking system.

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

Looking around our community, when we say employer, most will respond to State Farm, Country, or Illinois State University.   We too often forget those who are building our roads, serving our food, or our public employees. COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
