Obituary: Hart

David W. Hart, 41, of Downs, passed away at 3:55 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 at his home.

His memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the funeral home.  The family requests casual attire for those attending.

Memorials may be made to his mother, Pat Swearingen.

David was born on August 6, 1973 in Bloomington, the son of William D. and Patricia Hamblin Hart. 

He is survived by a son, Braxton Hart of Normal; his mother, Patricia Swearingen of Downs; a sister, Susan (Orville) Fish of Bloomington; a nephew, Colton Carter; his step-father, Rick Swearingen of LeRoy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

David was employed by Laborers Local 362 for many years.  He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears. David enjoyed spending time with his friends and very much loved his son.
