BLOOMINGTON – Today is the deadline for the WJBC Brotherhood Tree to collect all of the gifts that it will distribute to several thousand families in McLean County Saturday.
Spokesman Bob Bradley told WJBC's Scott Laughlin, cash donations through Pay Pal are most helpful, but wrapped and unwrapped gifts will always be accepted.
"That probably is the greatest need – financial contributions – because we have raised considerably the number of food baskets we are going to be distributing," Bradley said.
Bradley said volunteers can use cash donations to buy gifts at discounted prices.
Bradley said there's a shortage of gifts for boys 9-12, and girls 9-12, and boys and girls ages to 6-8.
There's a list of drop-off sites here.
