The Illinois State women’s basketball team trailed visiting Southern Illinois by 16 points at halftime, before rallying to tie the game in the fourth quarter. However, the Redbirds (5-15, 2-7 MVC) were unable to get over the hump, as the Salukis (10-10, 4-5 MVC) squeaked out a 63-56 victory Sunday in Missouri Valley Conference action on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena.MORE
