BLOOMINGTON – The U.S. Cellular Coliseum held a job fair Tuesday as the venue looked to fill many part time positions.
Sales and Marketing Manager Nikki Dalbey explained every department at the Coliseum is looking to hire.
“We have a very small full time staff of about 14 people, which obviously is not enough when we have a sold out concert here,” said Dalbey. “Part time staff is a huge deal here. They are the front lines and help us make our patron experience great here.”
There were 100 potential positions looking to be filled, according to Dalbey.
“We tend to hire at the beginning of our season each year,” she said.
Dalbey was pleased with the turnout; around 30 people were at the door when the job fair began and plenty more turned up after that.
