NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) — The town of Normal will have some fire hydrants flushed during a week in November.
Fire hydrant flushing is performed to remove any sediment or stagnant water from the distribution system, as well as to test fire hydrant operation, said Normal Water Department director John Burkhart.
