BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — A Habitat for Humanity store was damaged during an attempted break-in on Thursday.
Someone allegedly broke a window at the Habitat for Humanity of McLean County & ReStore to gain access to the building on West Washington Street, a Habitat for Humanity Facebook post said.
The store said it was grateful for the quick response of Bloomington police and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, which scared the suspect away.
The ReStore said it’s working to make repairs and is expected to reopen at 10 a.m. on Friday.
