MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) — With the new school year coming soon, the McLean County Health Department is giving parents the chance to vaccinate their children.
The health department is offering back-to-school vaccine appointments, according to health department spokeswoman Marianne Manko.
She also said the health department is encouraging parents to plan to meet Illinois’s minimal immunization requirements for children enrolling in school.
Manko said the following back-to-school immunizations are available:

Manko said if parents are not sure which vaccines their child has had in Illinois, they can visit the Illinois Vax Verify web page. If their child received vaccines in another state, they will have to check that state’s public health department website for a similar portal.
She said schools will often list specific vaccine requirements and deadline dates on their website.
