BLOOMINGTON (WMBD-TV) – Starting Monday morning, parts of Normal’s Constitution Trail will be closed.
The trail will be closed starting at 7 a.m. July 21 between North Linden Street and Fire Station No. 3 on East Raab Road for an asphalt overlay, said Gene Kotlinski, the assistant director of Parks and Recreation.
Because of the work, the westbound curb lane of Raab Road from the fire station to Linden Street will also be closed, he said.
The closures are expected to last until the end of the day on Wednesday, July 23, but depending on the weather, reopening could be pushed back to Friday, July 25, he said.
