OTTAWA, Ill. (WMBD) — An East Peoria dentist has died after a skydiving accident on Monday.
Dr. Noel Liu, 48, was identified by the LaSalle County Coroner Richard Ploch. The coroner said he was initially called to 3915 East 1369th Road on Monday for a man involved in a skydiving accident.
The forensic investigation autopsy was conducted on Tuesday, but the preliminary results are still pending.
Liu was one of the CEO and Co-founders of Secure Dental, which had several locations, including one in East Peoria.
This incident remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices, with assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
