Annika Women’s All Pro Tour

The Annika Women’s All Pro Tour is the nation’s leading developmental tour for aspiring LPGA stars and is an official partner of the LPGA Tour.

The tour is named after the LPGA Hall of Fame payer, Annika Sörenstam. “I am thrilled to embark on this journey with the Women’s All Pro Tour,” Annika said. I firmly believe the best way to improve your game and prepare for the next level is to play on a tour with great competition. By joining forces with the WAPT, we have a unique opportunity to solidify further an incredibly important platform that has already advanced the professional playing careers of many talented players.”

Each tournament emulates an LPGA tour week: practice rounds, parties, clinics, pro-ams, and a professional golf tournament.

Fields include recent college grads, conditional Epson Tour, and conditional LPGA players. Its primary goal is to provide more opportunities for women to advance in professional golf.

ANNIKA Foundation

Annika created the ANNIKA Foundation (www.annika foundation.org) to develop and empower the next generation of women worldwide through the game of golf.

More specifically, it provides opportunities in women’s golf at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of personal development, including living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.

Pritzker, recall another Illinois Governor who protested the incursion of armed federal personnel into the city.   Those federal troops, rather than calming, escalated the situation, leading to deaths and violence. Illinois poet Vachel Lindsay…

In these troubled times, to my fellow white Americans

By Mike Matejka Our nation is at a unique watershed in human relations. African-Americans have been killed too many times in the past before George Floyd, but the response to this man’s death is international and all-encompassing. I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

Looking around our community, when we say employer, most will respond to State Farm, Country, or Illinois State University.   We too often forget those who are building our roads, serving our food, or our public employees. COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
