NORMAL – An 18-year-old Bloomington man stands accused of two counts of attempted murder after a shooting in early March.
McLean County Prosecutors allege Colin Simpson shot two people in the 700 block of West Orlando Ave. in Normal.
Both victims were transported to local hospitals, where they received treatment and were released.
The US Marshall’s Task Force arrested Simpson this week on two counts of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
Simpson also faces charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery causing bodily harm.
In a court hearing last week, a McLean County Judge ordered Simpson to remain behind bars before his trial.
