BLOOMINGTON – Another McLean County resident has died from COVID-19, while health officials report 180 new virus cases since Friday.
Officials report the latest case is a female in her 80’s who was not associated with a long-term care facility.
Local health officials report 26 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to the virus; whole four residents outside the county are hospitalized with the virus.
503 people are isolated at home, while 19.610 have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Officials report 180,628 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county, and 52.21 of the county is fully vaccinated.
The county’s cumulative positivity rate is 4.7%, while the rolling 7-day positivity rate is down to 3.6%, from 4.2% on Friday.
There have been 245 COVID-related deaths in the county.
