BLOOMINGTON – Since the weekend, the McLean County Health Department is reporting 144 new cases of COVID-19.
Local health officials report the latest cases come as 381 people are isolating at home, while 18,892 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Authorities also report the rolling 7-day positivity rate is down to 4.1%, from 4.8%, while the cumulative positivity remained steady at 4.8%.
McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight reports 12 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, while nine residents from outside the county are hospitalized in twin-city hospitals with the virus.
There have been 242 COVID-related deaths reported in the county.
Approximately 176,643 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the county on the vaccine front, and 51.06% of the population are fully vaccinated.
