BLOOMINGTON – Cases of COVID-19 are on the rise across the Twin Cities as local health officials report 35 new cases, while the rolling positivity rate increased to 4.2%.
On Friday, health officials reported 155 people are isolating at home, while 18,428 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Additionally, health officials report 10 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, while five additional patients outside the county are hospitalized in McLean county hospitals.
McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight reports more than 388,800 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 4.8%.
On the vaccine front, 170,347 doses have been administered in the county, and 48.82% of the population are fully vaccinated.
