WASHINGTON – A Central Illinois Congressman recognized Illinois State University President Dr. Larry Dietz on the house floor this week.
Dietz is retiring at the end of the month after serving as ISU’s 19th president for seven years. U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Taylorville) spoke on the House floor.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Larry since he became President. A personal testament I have to his success is the fact that all three of my kids attend the institution he leads. Congratulations on your retirement.”
Dietz is being replaced by Dr. Terri Goss Kinzy, who will be ISU’s first female president.
