BLOOMINGTON – A former Bloomington man is charged with three counts of murder after investigators say he played a role in a shooting on the city’s east side in March.
On Monday, BPD issued three McLean County murder warrants to Kentrell Brown, 18, at the Olmsted County Jail in Minnesota, where he was in custody for unrelated offenses.
BPD was called on March 7, to the 2400 block of Clearwater Avenue for a report of a non-responsive person. When officers arrived, they found Natwan Nash, 26, of Bloomington dead inside an apartment from multiple gunshot wounds.
On Tuesday, BPD detectives served Brown his murder warrants which come with a $3 million bond, meaning he has to post $300,000 cash to be released on the murder charges.
