BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Wednesday reported another COVID-related death. A man in his 80s not associated with a long-term care facility. There have been 218 COVID-related deaths in the county.
Local health officials reported 43 new cases as there are 61 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID, which is the most since the start of the pandemic.
McLean County hospitals are reporting 69% of ICU beds and 92% of total beds in use.
The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 4.9%. 78 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Walk-in vaccine clinic today at Grossinger Motors Arena
The health department is welcoming walk-in appointments for Wednesday’s COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine clinic at Grossinger Motors Arena where walk-ins are available up until 3:15 p.m.
