BLOOMINGTON – McLean County added 71 cases of coronavirus Friday with the number of active cases inching up to 669.
There are 59 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID, according to the health department. McLean County hospitals are reporting 77% of ICU beds and 88% of total beds in use.
MCHD has reported 458 new coronavirus cases over the last week. Here’s an age breakdown of for all cases:
- Under 1: 83 (+1)
- 1-17: 2,178 (+105)
- 18-19: 1,309 (+25)
- 20s: 4,634 (+108)
- 30s: 2,238 (+66)
- 40s: 2,079 (+62)
- 50s: 1,920 (+39)
- 60s: 1,370 (+25)
- 70s: 719 (+18)
- 80s: 370 (+7)
- 90s: 191 (+2)
- 100s: 9
The county’s rolling positivity rate held steady at 5.2%. 18 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.
There have been 216 COVID-related deaths in the county.
