McLean County adds 32 cases of coronavirus

BLOOMINGTON – Local health officials Thursday reported 32 new cases of coronavirus as the number of McLean County residents hospitalized went up to 58.

The health department says there are 558 residents in home isolation. McLean County hospitals are reporting 92% of ICU beds and 93% of total beds in use. The total number of patients hospitalized for COVID at McLean County hospitals is 39.

The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 5.2%. 81 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.

There have been 216 COVID-related deaths in the county.

Around 109,000 doses have been administered in the county. New appointments for next week can be made on the health department’s website here.
