McLean County’s rolling positivity at 4.6%, 53 new cases of coronavirus

BLOOMINGTON – The rolling positivity rate in McLean County continues to rise and is the highest it has been since early February.

McLean County health officials say the positivity rate is 4.6%, up from 4.2% on Wednesday.

The health department on Thursday reported 53 new cases of coronavirus as there are 335 active cases in the county. 27 McLean County residents are in the hospital due to COVID and the rest are in home isolation.

28 additional people were released from isolation, now 14,705 have recovered.

There have been 177 COVID-related deaths in the county.
