BLOOMINGTON – McLean County health department officials report two more McLean County residents died from COVID-complications.
The latest deaths, who were not associated with long-term care, include two males, one in his 70’s and one in his 80’s. There have been 177 COVID-related deaths in the county.
Marianne Manko, the public affairs coordinator for the health department, reports 23 McLean County residents are hospitalized while 77% of ICU beds and 81% of total beds are in use.
Additionally, health officials report 51 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total of confirmed cases to 14,975.
At this time, 236 individuals are isolating at home, while 14,539 individuals have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Officials report 53,838 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county.
