BLOOMINGTON – A 26-year-old Bloomington man has been identified as the victim of a shooting that happened Sunday night on the city’s east side.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate that Natwan Nash died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder. Toxicology testing is pending.
The Bloomington Police Department is investigating this incident as a homicide. BPD was called Sunday around 6:50 p.m. to the 2400 block of Clearwater Avenue for a report of a non-responsive person. When officers arrived, they found Nash dead inside an apartment.
BPD says no arrests have been made and no suspect information is available. This incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and Bloomington police.
