BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Monday reported 263 new cases of COVID-19 from over the weekend.
There are 17 McLean County residents currently hospitalized due to COVID and 1,246 are isolating at home. McLean County hospitals are reporting 77% of ICU beds and 88% of total beds in use.
“People who are in isolation should stay home until it’s safe for them to be around others,” said MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight. “In the home, anyone sick or infected should separate themselves from others by staying in a specific “sick room” or area and using a separate bathroom (if available).”
The county’s rolling positivity rate dropped from 10.9% to 9.3%, as 212 additional people recovered from the virus.
