BLOOMINGTON – Local health officials Friday reported two more people are in the hospital due to COVID-19 as McLean County added 24 new cases.
There are 13 people currently hospitalized, two in intensive care, and 159 are isolating at home, according to McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight.
Over the last week, the county has seen 119 new cases:
- 1-17: 14
- 18-19: 8
- 20s: 30
- 30s: 19
- 40s: 15
- 50s: 10
- 60s: 13
- 70s: 7
- 80s: 3
Seven additional people have recovered from the virus and there have been 23 COVID-related deaths.
MCHD is experiencing issues with the state program that provides lab testing numbers and positivity rates. The rolling posltivity rate for the county was 2.7% on Thursday.
