Bloomington lawyer disbarred after DUI offenses surface

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington-based lawyer has been disbarred on consent after DUI offenses came to light.

Jacob Thomas DiCiaula, first licensed in 2008, pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor offense of DWI in the State of Virginia and pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor offense of DUI in Illinois, according to our news partner HOI ABC.

According to McLean County Court records, DUI offenses in Illinois occurred in 2018.

DiCiaula also appeared in court on behalf of a client while intoxicated, according to the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.
