BLOOMINGTON – Gunfire erupted in at least two Bloomington locations this Labor Day weekend that caused property damage, but police said there were no injuries.
The most recent shooting, according to police, happened about 4:15 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Fairmont Drive, in southeast Bloomington.
Police said shots were fired in a parking lot on Fairmont during an argument. An apartment building there was struck by gunfire, according to police.
The earlier incident happened about 7 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of West Mill and South Mason Streets, on the city’s near southwest side, where gunfire struck a vehicle.
