BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Friday announced 21 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the county total to 893.
The age breakdown of the new cases:
- 10s: 1
- 20s: 14
- 30s: 4
- 40s: 1
- 50s: 1

So far this week, the county has added 160 new cases. There are 205 active cases, three people are currently hospitalized, down from four on Thursday, and 202 are isolating at home.
Health officials said 672 people have recovered from the virus and there have been 16 lives lost.
MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight said the rolling seven-day positivity rate went up to 3.6%, still below the statewide positivity rate of 4.4%.
