Man identified in Bloomington mowing accident

BLOOMINGTON – A man from Normal has been identified as the person involved in a mowing accident Wednesday morning.

Hunter W. Arbuckle, 25, died from traumatic compressional asphyxia sustained as the operator of a riding lawnmower that overturned, according to McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder. Toxicology results are pending.

The accident happened around 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Hershey Road. Bloomington police and firefighters assisted at the scene.
