Coroner identifies man found in north Normal

NORMAL – McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder has identified a man who was found dead Monday afternoon in north Normal.

Alexander Goldman, 52, of Normal was found in a wooded area near Greenbriar Drive and Hershey Road, according to authorities. Normal Police said Goldman was reported missing on Aug. 3.

Authorities said cause of death and toxicology testing are still pending, but there is no preliminary evidence of foul play.

This incident remains under investigation by NPD and the coroner’s office.
