BLOOMINGTON – The topic of face masks was addressed Tuesday by President Trump, as he encouraged Americans to wear one to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
State Rep. Dan Brady told WJBC’s Scott Miller he was glad to hear the president address the topic. The Bloomington Republican said the mask debate will likely continue, but he encourages people to think of others.

“At the end of the day when we talk about the mask issue, if not for yourself, how about public safety and those you love around you,” Brady said. “That is what I do and I think it’s becoming more customary and that is positive. Continue that trend as we go forward so we don’t spike in cases and have to revert to a Phase 3.”
