BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man remains behind bars after a domestic violence incident.
Bloomington Police were called to the 300 block of W. Mulberry Street around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic violence incident in which the suspect had fled the scene.
Authorities say, Jonathon Campbell, 42, of Bloomington fled the scene. Around 5:45 a.m., officers located Campbell and arrested him without incident in the 2000 block of Ridge Creek Drive.
Campbell was arrested for the following charges:
– Domestic battery/bodily harm
– Unlawful restraint
-Aggravated battery/strangle
-Aggravated domestic battery
-Theft/Possession of stolen property/greater than $300 less than $10,000 (Driving a stolen vehicle).
Campbell is being held at the McLean County Jail. No bond information is available at this time.
Bloomington Fire and Rescue responded to the scene; however, the adult female victim was not transported to the hospital for her injuries.
